You will learn how to deal with conscious and unconscious victims and resuscitate them using Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). We offer this class for use on children, infants, and adults.First aid is the emergency care and treatment of someone sick or injured before professional medical services are obtained. You will learn how to prevent further injury , prevent and minimize infections, maintain breathing and circulation, reduce and prevent shock, and control bleeding safely.
You will also learn how and when to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) when someone goes into cardiac arrest. The lesson includes various methods of rescue breathing and proper and safe use of Automated External Defibrillators.
